Whether you are the host of this year’s Halloween bash, or you are a guest at someone else’s, you’ll want to ensure you make some fiendishly tasty Halloween treats that are remembered way beyond the Jack O’Lanterns go out.

Halloween is the perfect opportunity to create some spooktacular themed recipes – we’ve rounded up our favorite nibbles to share with you today.

Halloween Party Snacks

1. Jack-O-Lantern Quesadillas

These quesadillas in the shape of Jack-O-Lanterns are simple yet effective. With only 3 ingredients required, and minimal prep time, they can be served at a kid’s Halloween party or just for a quick Halloween tea. Depending on the age of your child they could also get involved and carve out their own pumpkin faces! Samantha from Florassippi Girl offers the time saving tip of cutting out the faces ahead of time so all you need to do is take them out and cook them – even more time for trick or treating!

2. Graveyard Taco Dip

Another savory dish that is both tasty and fun to look at! Heather from Chickabug has created this fun Taco dip which is sure to impress guests at any Halloween gathering. The gravestones and tree are made from tortillas which have been cut out and then baked in the oven – how great does that look?!

3. Perfect Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds are a tasty, nutrient rich snack that are great for nibbling on at any party. After soaking time they are then roasted in the oven for around 40 minutes. They taste great with a dash of salt, as recommended by Brandie of Home Cooking Memories, or you could add a little bit of paprika or other spice according to your taste.

4. Tangerine Pumpkins and Banana Ghosts

We absolutely adore this super cute fruit dish! Who could resist the temptation to eat one of these healthy snacks?! They are so incredibly simple to make, and work well as a party dish, or popped in a child’s lunch box. What’s not to love?! A huge thanks to Flo & Grace for the inspiration on this simple Halloween recipe.

5. No Bake Peanut Butter Pumpkin Bites

Shell from Not Quite Susie had us hooked at the ‘no bake’ part, and then peanut butter came along to add to the excitement! These Pumpkin Bites certainly look the part of any Halloween party, with the added bonus of being both yummy, and without the need to switch the oven on!

6. Witch’s Potion Drink

With all these tasty Halloween snacks you’ll also want to provide some fun themed drinks (potions) to go alongside them. This perfectly named Witch’s Potion from Lilluna is sure to get any Halloween witches in the mood! We love the idea of adding sherbet to get the potion foaming, and of course we really love the addition of gummy worms!

7. Cheese and Pretzel Broomsticks

How incredibly cute are these Cheese and Pretzel Broomsticks? With only the need for 2 main ingredients (cheese and pretzels) we reckon these Halloween snacks need to be made at any gathering or party this October 31st! Although the chives add visually to the broomsticks they aren’t essential. Thanks One Little Project for such a cute Halloween snack idea!
